MOGULS SKIING; TECHNIQUES TRAINING IN FLUMSERBERG & DAVOS

Moguls (Bumps) 2-4 day trainings // advanced & intermediate classes

Perfomance training for advanced skiers

There are 3 different ways to ski the moguls, depending on how well you can already ski, the differences in the type of Mogul, the snow condition (and your own), you can apply these.

Working on Mogul techniques is a real step in the progression of your overall skiing technique

Bump after bump, we ‘print’ the appropriate technique in your system. On the mountain, movements are discussed, learned and triggered through exercises. We will improve and clarify the coordination and with the help of video analyses the picture is complete.

Technique determines how much fun and how safe you feel on the mountain. With good techniques, you develop more self-confidence, and you give yourself the opportunity to take on new challenges in a responsible way. The recipe to fully enjoy the time in which you stand on your skis.

During the moguls ski training, we will make you a master of your own recipe, with a decent dash of salt from BSSKI.

Make the artist come out when skiing; Use a rhythmic, flowing motion to absorb the bumps.

One of the most important skills in moguls skiing is learning how to absorb the bumps with a rhythmic, flowing motion. As you approach each mogul, bend your knees and absorb the impact by flexing your ankles, knees, and hips. Then, extend your legs and push off the mogul to maintain your momentum and flow down the hill.

Practice this motion on smaller bumps before moving on to larger ones and remember to keep your upper body stable and facing downhill. With practice, you’ll be able to navigate the bumps with ease and style.
